He is a published ghost writer. His first attempt at a novel is titled “Blood Bond.” It is the story of two sons of an immigrant Italian family and the way in which the changing northeastern urban scene impacted each.
More than 50 years ago, Charles helped put himself through Columbia College and earn a Masters Degree from Columbia’s famed Pulitzer Graduate School of Journalism while working as a reporter for the New York Journal American. Over the years, he rose to become Publisher/President of the Alameda Newspaper Group in the San Francisco Bay area and later served as Editor-in-Chief of Focus, a million circulation lifestyle magazine.
